The exact placement of the Doidae is subject to much current debate. We follow Lafonatine and Schmidt (2010) here, placing them near the Notodontidae.

Source: This Neotropical species is
known from Pena Blanca Lake CG and Harshaw Creek (P. Opler, per com 2001).
