Lecture notes from the course of Detection of QTLs and Marker-assisted Selection by J. Weller, M. Sollor, and A. B. Korol, 24 August - 7 Sept 1997, Jerusalem. Much thanks for Joel Weller and company for allowing these to be posted.
Please note that these notes are given as pdf files (and hence require a browser with a pdf reader), and have been converted from the original documents. There has been some loss of resolution in the figures and a misplaced character or two in a few of the equations. Since these are saved as doubled pages, they are not easily read off the screen, but print out just fine.
- Course information and Historical Overview
- Experimental designs to detect QTLs (NOT YET POSTED)
- Statistical methods for QTL detection and parameter estimation
- Statistical power to detect QTLs, parameter confidence interval, and optimization of
experimental designs
