As the following figure shows, there is a strong correlation between homework and exam scores

Roughly 32 percent of the total variance in exam score is predicted given your homework score

If we look at this by instructor, for Bruce's homework and exams, the correlation is less, with only 20 percent of the total variance in exam score predicted from your homework score,


For Ted, 25 percent ot the variance in exam score was predicted from homework score,
