Notice from the curve that z-scores are your friend --- compare the curve under z-scores with that under strict percentages [90% of the 2nd highest score].

DISCLAIMER: This curve is APPROXIMATE ONLY. It will change slightly as students drop the class. Likewise, recall that your TOTAL grade will computed by taking your average z-scores (exams + homework) and the percentage of the (2nd) highest score, and you will be given the higher of the two grades based on your TOTAL score.
